And Inspiring a Christ-centered lifestyle. Finally, we have dedicated effort to help each individual become who God has created them to be. Our Ministry Leaders

Dale & Michelle Butler

Dale – I am a pastor, church planter, and leader with over two decades of professional ministry experience. Before answering the call to full-time ministry, I established a career in the music business. I truly love preaching and teaching and believe I can connect a multi-generational audience to God’s Word, using a passion for sharing Christ with others, my own experiences, and a keen sense of humor.

Born and raised near Akron, OH, I met the love of my life, Michelle, at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. We have been married and on this adventure together for 33a years, along with our incredible three children; Austin is a US Navy submariner, stationed in Bangor, Washington; Caleb is a US Army Blackhawk pilot, stationed in Hawaii; and Hannah is a recent graduate from TNU living in Nashville. Our sons are recently married, so we have 2 bonus daughters. For obvious reasons, we have a big heart for the military and their families.

Michelle is my favorite person, she’s my most significant support and greatest encourager. She is also an ordained Pastor and has served in all areas of the church over the years. My wife and children are each unique in their interests, abilities, and personalities. They inspire me to be a better pastor, husband, and dad. Our journey has not been an easy one as we have served in 3 states, with a life-altering accident in the middle, but God continues to redeem us as we trust Him for every step.

We’ve entered a new season; the empty nest, and while it is an adjustment, we sense the best is yet to come. I am learning to enjoy this season of my life. I have more time for the things I love: reading, playing golf, hanging out with Michelle, going on hikes, and dabbling with audio projects.

In seeking a fresh vision for this year at Woodland Park, we are excited about what God is already doing. Our prayer is for the church to learn together, experience God together, and partner together to find new ways of bringing the love of God to its community.
